Free press survives in Australia

The Labor government, unable to cobble together a parliamentary majority for its “media reform” fiasco, has shelved the entire thing (Andrew Bolt).

So free speech is still breathing in Australia.

One of the reasons for Labor’s trouble – the center-right opposition stood firm and tall in their complete opposition. Tony Abbott revealed himself to be no David Cameron.

That’s why the two Coalition parties in Australia are in the hallowed right-hand column.
