At about 9:35 PM, the Fredericksburg Expo wireless network slowed to less than a crawl. In my impatience, I ended up hitting the wrong key and wiping out my entire post. As such, the last half of the debate was a frustrated blur.
If you ask me (whaddya mean you didn’t?), Palin won the first half of the debate hands down. She got real folksy at the end, which doesn’t work for me (I grew up in north Jersey suburbs, hardly Middle America). I’d call it somewhere between a draw and a narrow win for Governor Palin,
Coming from the Midwest myself, I appreciated the folksy…for a while. I think it did get to be too much by the end, but that just may be the dozen years I have been influenced by the elitism of the East Coast!
How did Sarah Palin win the debate if she never really answered any of the debate questions???
