I first came across him in the beginning stages of my fascination with Canadian politics (1997-????). His explanation for Bill Clinton surviving Monicagate (“Gore fatigue”) was easily the most lucid (and funniest) thing I have ever read on the fiasco (when I can find a link, I’ll put up the exact quote).
Today, however, what caught my eye was his missive on bumper stickers in National Review Online’s The Corner. This comment in particular had me in stitches:
With “9/11 WAS AN INSIDE JOB” (a big hit with Vermonters), I like to put on my reflector shades, pass them slowly and then appear to be calling in the license plate.
